Help
Quick answers about buying and selling on Fashined. Select a question to open it.
Buying
How do I start buying?
Anyone can browse. Buying needs an invite code: sign in, then redeem it in Profile, Settings. Fashined is invite-only during the beta and ships within the US.
How do the measurements work?
Every listing has measurements taken with the piece laid flat, in inches, edge to edge. Compare them with something you own that fits well, measured the same way. Save your own in Profile, Preferences to filter by them.
Can I make an offer?
Yes, on most listings. If the seller accepts, the piece is yours at that price and you're asked to pay.
How do I pay?
Add pieces to your cart and check out. You pay once, by card, on Stripe's secure page. Fashined never sees your card details. Sales tax is added on the payment page.
What do the condition labels mean?
- New with tags: Never worn or washed. Original tags still attached. No flaws, alterations, or signs of storage wear.
- New without tags: Never worn or washed, but the original tags have been removed. No flaws or alterations.
- Gently used: Worn a few times with minimal signs of wear. No stains, holes, pilling, fading, or odors. Any tiny imperfection is photographed and described.
- Used: Clearly worn, with visible but minor wear such as light pilling, slight fading, or small marks. Every flaw is photographed and described.
- Very worn: Heavily worn with obvious wear such as significant fading, distressing, stains, repairs, or holes. Every flaw is photographed and described.
Is everything authenticated?
Only listings marked “Authenticated by” a named provider. “Reviewed by Fashined” means a person on our team checked the listing, and “AI-reviewed” means an automated check did. Neither is authentication. Every order is still covered if an item turns out not to be genuine.
Orders, shipping and claims
When will my order arrive?
Sellers usually ship within 3 business days, and delivery takes a few more after that. You'll see an estimate at checkout and tracking in Orders once it ships. If you buy from several sellers, each package has its own tracking.
Something is wrong with my order. What do I do?
Open a claim from the order in Orders within 72 hours of delivery. You're covered if it never arrives, is the wrong item, isn't as described, arrives damaged, or may not be authentic. The seller isn't paid while we review it, and if the claim is approved you get a refund.
Can I cancel?
Before the seller ships, you can ask to cancel from the order. Once it's shipped, use a claim if something is wrong.
Selling
How do I become a seller?
Apply to sell. We review every seller by hand during the beta. Once approved, set up payouts with Stripe and you can list.
What can I sell?
Authentic designer, luxury, and selected streetwear and vintage clothing, shoes and accessories that you own and have in hand. During the beta, prices are $40 to $300. Counterfeits and replicas are never allowed.
What are the fees?
3% commission on items under $120, and 5% at $120 and up. Card processing is passed on at cost, 2.9% plus $0.30. You see your estimated payout before you list.
How do I ship?
When something sells, print the prepaid label from the order in Orders, pack the item, and drop it off. Your ship-from address is in Profile, Settings.
When do I get paid?
72 hours after the carrier confirms delivery, if there's no open claim. The money goes to your Stripe account, then to your bank on Stripe's schedule.
Your account
How do I sign in?
Enter your email and we send a one-time code or link. There's no password to remember.
How do I change my details?
Profile, then the gear at the top right, for your name, photo and region. Your brands, sizes and measurements are under Preferences.
Can I get my data, or delete my account?
Yes. Contact us below and we'll send a copy of your information or close your account. See Privacy for what we keep.
Still need help?
For a problem with an order, open a claim from the order in Orders, so the payment stays on hold while we look. An email address for everything else is coming soon.
