Who can use Fashined

• Fashined is a marketplace for pre-loved designer and selected streetwear and vintage clothing in the United States.
• You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
• Anyone can browse. Buying needs an invite code. Selling needs an application that we review by hand.
• One account per person. Keep your sign-in to yourself: you're responsible for what happens in your account.

What Fashined does, and doesn't do

Fashined connects buyers and sellers, takes payment, and holds it until the item has arrived. Sellers, not Fashined, own and sell the items. We review listings before they go live, but a review isn't a promise that an item is authentic unless the listing says “Authenticated by” a named provider.

• AI-reviewed means an automated check looked at the listing. It is not authentication.
• Reviewed by Fashined means a person on our team looked at the listing.
• ID-verified seller means the seller confirmed their identity with our payment provider, Stripe.

Selling

• You may only list items you own and have the right to sell. Every item must be authentic.
• Describe each item honestly: its real condition and any flaws, photos of the actual item, and measurements taken laid flat.
• During the beta, prices run from $40 to $300 per item, and you set a flat shipping price of up to $50.
• Not allowed: counterfeits or replicas, stolen goods, items you don't have in hand, and anything illegal to sell in the US.
• We can decline or remove any listing that breaks these rules.

Fees

• Commission: 3% of the item price for items under $120, and 5% at $120 and above, with a $2.00 minimum. It's never charged on shipping or sales tax.
• Card processing is passed on at cost: 2.9% of the item and shipping, plus $0.30.
• Buyers pay the item price, the seller's shipping price and any sales tax. Nothing else is added.
• Your estimated payout is shown before you list.

Buying and offers

• Prices are set by sellers and checked again on our server when you pay.
• You can make an offer below the asking price, down to 30% of it unless the seller set a higher minimum. An accepted offer is a commitment to buy.
• When you check out, the item is held for you for a short time while you pay. If you don't pay, it becomes available again.
• Payment is handled by Stripe. Fashined never sees or stores your card details.

Shipping

• Sellers ship with the prepaid label Fashined provides, to the address the buyer gave at checkout.
• Sellers should ship within 3 business days of the sale. Orders that aren't shipped can be cancelled and refunded.
• Every package has tracking, and the order is done when the carrier confirms delivery.

Payouts

A seller is paid 72 hours after the carrier confirms delivery, as long as there's no open claim. The money goes to the seller's Stripe account and then to their bank on Stripe's schedule. Refunds and claims can reduce or cancel a payout.

Problems with an order

If an item doesn't arrive, isn't what the listing described, arrives damaged, or may not be authentic, open a claim from your order within 72 hours of delivery. The seller isn't paid while we review it. If we approve the claim, you get a refund, which may include returning the item. See Help for how it works.

How to behave

• Be honest and respectful in listings, offers and messages.
• Keep the sale on Fashined: don't ask to be paid elsewhere. Payments outside Fashined aren't protected.
• No harassment, spam, or misuse of anyone's personal details.

We may limit, pause or close accounts that break these terms, and keep records we need to resolve open orders.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and words you post. You allow Fashined to show them on Fashined and in places that promote your listing, for as long as they're listed and afterwards in order history.

Limits

We work hard to keep Fashined running and accurate, but it's provided as it is, and we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Fashined isn't responsible for losses beyond the amount you paid for the order in question.

Changes

We'll update these terms as Fashined grows and change the date at the top when we do. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app before it applies to you.
